JAKARTA – In the Best Stocks 2022 event organized by Investor Magazine in collaboration with PT Edvisor Profina Visindo (Edvisor.id). Astra Group’s palm oil company, PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk, which is an issuer coded AALI won the award for being the best listed company in the Big Cap category (Market Capitalization above Rp 10 Trillion) Primary Consumer Goods Sector.
This award is an appreciation to more than 73 stock issuers from 11 stock sectors on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that have managed to score positive financial performance amid challenges due to the pandemic and fears of a continued economic slowdown.
News Director of Beritasatu Media Holdings, Primus Dorimulu, revealed that the selection of winners was assessed based on several indicators of positive financial performance such as operating income growth, net profit growth, or operating margin.
“So that the best companies who received awards today were chosen,” he said when giving his opening remarks at the event which was held online, Wednesday (31/08/2022).
Meanwhile, Praska Putrantyo as CEO of Edvisor.id who was also present online expressed his appreciation in his presentation related to the selection of winners in this award event, this stock ranking is expected to be a reference for investors on the quality of selected stocks that can be an alternative investment.
“This event is very useful for the winning issuers as an identification of excellence to make an investment basket,” Praska explained in an official statement received by InfoSAWIT.
As one of the best listed company, AALI has carried out real corporate actions or business strategies to contribute to stakeholders, including by strengthening cooperation with partner oil palm farmers, and implementing sustainability policies, both of which are also one of the assessments in determining the best listed company winners.(*)
