The commemoration of National Teachers’ Day has become a memorable moment for education personnel from year to year. One of them was felt at Indah Makmur Junior High School (PT GSDI-GSYM), Saturday (11/25/2023). This Teacher’s Day commemoration also coincides with PGRI’s 78th Anniversary. Indah Makmur Junior High School held a ceremony and the special thing is that the teachers fully participated as ceremonial officers. Such as being the leader of the ceremony, flag bearer, reader of the 1945 Constitution, and others.
Head of Indah Makmur Junior High School Catur Suharsono said that the Teacher’s Day ceremony attracted the attention and enthusiasm of the students because the teachers who usually teach them in class showed their skills as ceremonial officers. “The ceremony officers came from Harapan Sejahtera Elementary School teachers, Indah Makmur Junior High School and kindergarten representatives in the PT GSDI work area,” he said.
Acting as the master of ceremonies was the CSR Assistant of PT GSDI-GSYM, Usma, who is part of the education community. “This teacher’s day ceremony was a success, I appreciate the officers and also the ceremony participants,” he said.
In addition, he also emphasized that a number of important points were carried out in this year’s teacher’s day commemoration. Based on the Circular Letter (SE) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) Number 36927/MPK.A/TU.02.03/2023, namely Moving Together to Celebrate Free Learning.
“What I want to emphasize is that teaching is a noble profession and has experienced difficult dynamics in the past as teachers had become a profession that was not looked at. However, things are different now that this profession has found its light so that it must be maintained so that it does not go out,” he said.
Meanwhile in a separate place, PT GSDI-GSYM Administrator Rahardian Tegar Taufani said that the commemoration of this teacher’s day should not stop at the implementation of the ceremony, but must continue to improve the quality of education including encouraging the self-development of educators.
“The management of PT GSDI-GSYM fully supports efforts to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, all resources owned by the company will be maximized for the implementation of the company’s CSR, one of which focuses on education,” he said.
