YOGYAKARTA- PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk’s communication media, Agrovaria, won the Silver Winner award in the event “The 11th Indonesia Inhouse Magazine Awards (InMA) 2022” for the national private company print media category. The magazine, which has won InMA consecutively since 2014, received another award in the biggest mass media appreciation event organized by the Press Company Union (SPS) in Yogyakrta, (29/3).
Communication and Investor Relations Manager of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk, Fenny Sofyan said that the company’s communication media amidst a pandemic is not only a communication medium that disseminates information within the company’s internal circles. However, it is also one of the tools in improving employee performance, work life balance, and fostering love for the company.
“The Agrovaria brand has now developed into a digital communication tool and a forum for Astra Agro’s creativity through various programs such as e-magazines, Agrovaria Livestream and Agrovaria Livetalk which are broadcast from the Agrovaria studio through various corporate social media channels including the Agrovaria YouTube channel,” said Fenny.
The InMA 2022 event was organized by the Press Company Union, with the theme “Maintaining Journalism, Strengthening Nationalism”. There were 581 journalistic products that were submitted to the committee. The InMA 2022 jury consists of: Ahmad Djauhar (Chairman of the Commission for Research, Data Collection, and Press Ratification of the Press Council), Asmono Wikan (CEO of PR Indonesia), Danu Kusworo (Photo Editor of Kompas Daily), Ika Sastrosoebroto (CEO of Prominent PR), Oscar Mastulloh (Independent Photojournalist), Mas Sulistyo (Design Director DM ID0, Nina Mutmainnah (Head of the Department of Communication Science, FISIP UI), and Agus Sudibyo (Chairman of the Commission on Inter-Institutional Relations and Foreign Relations of the Press Council).
“Improving the quality in terms of design, layout, infographics, content depth, sharpness of analysis, and novelty elements is considered to be able to attract new readers,” said Agus Sudibyo.
