Petumbea, North Morowali – PT Cipta Agro Nusantara (CAN) presents appreciation and support to champion students in its fostered areas by holding roadshows to 5 schools to hand over Achievement Scholarships. This event is also a moment to stay in touch between companies, schools, students, and parents to create a close bond in supporting education and the formation of future generations.
This activity is a tangible manifestation of PT CAN’s commitment in making a positive contribution in the field of education through the Astra Cerdas CSR program. Every year, PT CAN consistently distributes scholarships for outstanding students in its assisted schools.
As for this activity, it was held in five foster schools which took place on November 9-10, 2023. A total of 75 students received Achievement Scholarships, with details of 54 elementary school students, 9 junior high school students, and 12 vocational school students.
The Supervisor Coordinator of the North Morowali District Education and Culture Office, Gede Mudana, expressed his high appreciation to PT CAN for actively contributing to providing CSR programs in the field of education in the Company’s circle.
He also thanked the teachers and principals who had guided and educated the children, so that they had the opportunity to get achievement scholarships.
“For parents of students to continue to accompany children to study together at home, so that their attention is not always on gadgets or androids, but rather focus on future learning plans,” said Gede.
The same thing was also conveyed by the Secretary of Lembo Raya Sub-District (Sekcam), Delhok Sang Dewanto. He represented the Lembo Raya sub-district government to express his gratitude and highest appreciation for the attention and real actions taken by PT.CAN to support and participate in the success of the vision and mission of the North Morowali Regency regional government to create a Healthy, Smart and Prosperous North Morowali (SCS).
“For the champions, the achievement scholarship recipients to maintain their achievements and continue to improve their learning,” said Delhok.
This activity was also attended by the Head of Petumbea Village, Sunarsi Enggune and the Head of Ronta Village, Berkat Utama Lemangga. From the company, PT CAN’s Administrative Manager (ADM) Dani Sitorus, PT CAN’s Plantation Head Lambang Mursito, and PT CAN’s CSR Assistant Ade Sunarto were also present.
On behalf of the village government, the Petumbea and Ronta village heads also appreciated and thanked PT CAN. They hope that this scholarship program can continue in the coming years.
