SIAK – PT Kimia Tirta Utama (KTU)-Astra Group celebrated Astra Agro Lestari’s 35th Anniversary by distributing scholarships. The scholarship program was given to 66 students in KTU Ring 1 Village.
The Astra Cerdas program is a form of the company’s commitment in making a real contribution to education in the region. In the event held at the Koto Gasib Sub District Office Hall, PT KTU gave Outstanding Scholarships to students from 13 schools in Kuala Gasib, Pangkalan Pisang, Buatan 1, and Teluk Rimba Villages. The number of students who received scholarships was divided into 54 elementary school students, 6 junior high school students, and 6 high school students.
PT KTU’s administrator, Hubbal K. Sembiring, stated that this program is a form of the company’s concern for education in the community.

Koto Gasib Sub-District Head, Siswanto, also expressed his appreciation for the positive impact of PT KTU’s CSR program in his area. “This scholarship is expected to provide a motivational boost for students in Koto Gasib. We express our gratitude for PT KTU’s attention and hope that this good relationship will continue,” he added.
