PT Lestari Tani Teladan (LTT), a PT Astra Agro Lestari (ALL) subsidiary, provides scholarships for students with academic achievements on July 24, 2024, at SDN 23 Rio Pakava, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi.
This scholarship program is part of the Astra Cerdas Program, designed to improve the quality of education in PT LTT’s Ring 1 village.
One of the student guardians, Lusi Triana, expressed her gratitude when her child received the scholarship from the company.
Likewise, the Principal of SDN 23 Rio Pakava, Supriana, appreciated the palm oil company for continuously providing scholarships to students with Academic Achievements.
“Thank you for the attention and appreciation PT LTT has given to our children. The presence of the scholarship program may boost the enthusiasm to pursue education for the recipients and those who have not received scholarships,” she explained.
PT LTT Assistant Plantation Head Ahady explained that through the Astra Cerdas program, PT LTT is committed to maintaining the quality of education for the nation’s future generation.
“With this program, we hoped that the quality of education in the company’s Ring 1 village would improve and students would be more motivated to achieve their goals,” Ahady said in his statement on Sunday (28/7/3024).
According to him, the scholarship provided is part of the Astra Cerdas Program run by PT LTT to help improve the quality of education around the plantation.
“We hope that this scholarship will positively impact students and increase their enthusiasm for learning,” said Ahady.
PT LTT’s CSR Assistant, Hadiana, added that providing this outstanding scholarship demonstrates the company’s concern for education in the area.
She said, “We hope this program can increase students’ learning motivation and have a positive impact on the community.”
PT LTT’s Community Development Officer (CDO), Hendi Widjajanto, said that these scholarships were given to outstanding students from several schools around the company, such as SDN 23 Rio Pakava, SDN 24 Rio Pakava, SDN 5 Rio Pakava, and SMPN 7 Rio Pakava.
He added, “In addition to tuition support, the scholarship recipients also received award certificates as a form of appreciation for their achievements.”
