Commemorating the 60th National Health Day (HKN), PT Waru Kaltim Plantation (WKP), a subsidiary of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI), handed over equipment to Posyandu Bukit Tinggi in Bangun Mulya Village, Waru District, PPU, Thursday (14/11).
The donation in the form of digital scales, plastic chairs, and garbage cans aims to support health services for the community around the company. PT WKP Administrator, Eko Andrianto, emphasized the company’s commitment to community health, including supporting 14 Posyandu in four villages.
Bangun Mulya Village Head, Boiran, appreciated this assistance as a sign of PT WKP’s real attention to the community’s needs. “This activity is very useful and is proof of the company’s concern,” he said.
PT WKP’s CSR Assistant, Zakaria, added that the company continues to carry out CSR programs in health, education, economy, and environment to support regional and community progress.
Bukit Tinggi Posyandu cadres, village officials, and PT WKP staff were also attending the event, who together strengthened partnerships for the welfare of the PPU community.
