PT Waru Kaltim Plantation (WKP) recently received a distinguished award from the Regent of Penajam Paser Utara (PPU), Mudyat Noor, during the 23rd anniversary ceremony of PPU held on November 3, 2025. The company was honored with a green rank award in the Company Performance Assessment Program (PROPER) within the district-level palm oil mill sector.
Eko Andrianto, the Administrator of PT WKP, emphasized that this recognition is a reflection of the collective efforts of all employees, who demonstrate a strong commitment to environmental stewardship.
“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to every employee for their dedication to environmental preservation through various initiatives, whether individually through CSR programs or collaboratively through community activities,” he stated.
Additionally, Mr. Andrianto highlighted that this award affirms PT WKP’s fulfillment of its responsibilities as a corporate entity, including transparent reporting of all activities that contribute to regional development.
“We express our sincere appreciation to the government. This recognition reinforces our commitment as business operators to disclose all company activities, including investments,” he concluded.
Furthermore, during the same ceremony, the Maju Bersama Pokdakan, supported by PT WKP, was recognized with the first-place award for independent feed innovation. Additionally, a school sponsored by PT WKP, SDN 006, received the prestigious Adiwiyata School award at the district level.
