In the holy month of Ramadan 1447 Hijri, PT Mamuang distributed 175 food packages to the indigenous Kaili Tado community residing near the company’s operational area in Martasari Village, Pedongga District, Pasangkayu Regency, West Sulawesi, on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. This initiative is part of PT Mamuang’s commitment to supporting food security in the community, especially amidst current economic challenges.
Arkham, the Chief of the Kaili Tado Customary Council, expressed gratitude for PT Mamuang’s efforts to provide food aid to their community. He emphasized how meaningful this assistance is as they navigate the month of Ramadan. “This shows that PT Mamuang cares about the surrounding community, and we hope this positive relationship continues,” he stated.
Muh Fathurrohman, the CSR Assistant at PT Mamuang, explained that the purpose of this assistance is to alleviate the community’s burden in meeting their food needs during Ramadan. He noted that while Ramadan is a month of blessings, it can also pose challenges for some members of society. “With this assistance, we hope the indigenous community can observe their fasting with greater peace,” he added.
M Satria Abdi Catur Pamungkas, the Administrator of PT Mamuang, emphasized that this program is a tangible demonstration of the company’s commitment to the welfare of the surrounding community. “We want to ensure that the presence of PT Mamuang benefits the community,” he explained. Through this assistance, Satria hopes that the relationship between the company and the community will grow even closer. “In addition to supporting food security, this program aims to build a strong synergy with the local community,” he expressed.
Separately, Agro Susanto, the Chief Development Officer of PT Mamuang, noted that this distribution is part of the company’s CSR program aimed at improving the welfare of communities surrounding its operational areas. “The company is dedicated to continuing social programs that have a positive impact on the community, aligning with sustainable business practices and social responsibility,” he concluded.
