Astra Agro is committed to ensuring the responsible sourcing of raw materials by consistently ensuring that every raw material received from the production of the nucleus, associated, and third-party suppliers plantations must come from production processes that adhere to the principles in Astra Agro’s Sustainability Policy.

We strive to trace the sources of raw materials entering our facilities from third-party suppliers at the mill level to the plantation level to determine the origin of the raw materials.

Smallholders provide a sizable supply of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) for Astra Agro’s mills and therefore play a critical role in business continuity and implementing the Sustainability Policy in the supply chain.
